Purchased by the current owner over 30 years ago. This genuine Mini Clubman was literally driven into a dry garage by the current owner due to her work location changing and a longer drive to work back in 2003!
It has never been moved or used since. The garage was dry and the mini was covered over.
The previous owner fitted seat covers to all seats and a steering wheel cover. We have not had time yet to explore the exact condition of either.
The miles on the clock show 76,000. Although the lady owner did not keep any previous records we believe this to be accurate. The log book shows only 2 previous owners and we believe the first owner was the actual dealer for the first three months of its life.
Registered on 9th June 1978.
The current owner recalls the bodywork being resprayed by the council due to road works covering the car in white speckles whilst remarking the roads. They clearly did not do a very good job as the body work is showing signs of cracking and in some areas brush strokes!
We highly recommend coming to see the mini. The Mini Clubman in such original condition is becoming increasingly rare and valuable. An ideal restoration project vehicle and ultimatley a fantastic investment.
We have not inspected or attempted to start the engine yet. This will be attempted over the coming days.
