A real Classic 80’s iconic that represents an excellent investment with values increasing significantly over the last 12 months.
We have contacted the original owner of this Golf and the lady informed us she ordered the vehicle direct from VW in Germany. Her friend was German and advised her she could order her new GTI, bypass the local dealer and save a considerable amount of money! The car was ordered, the couple flew to Germany and drove the car back to the UK.
Technically therefore the car is listed as an import due to the original owner ordering direct. It is however a standard UK specification vehicle.
The car found its way over the last 30 years into the hands of a chap who loved the GTI and spent the next 10 years restoring to a very good standard. The car has pretty much been kept standard and today represents a fantastic example of a growing modern classic.

All glass is original as the reg number was etched in at some point and all match the car.
The car still needs some minor tweaking (only cosmetic) to make it even better than it already is!
