A fantastic MK1 For Sale on behalf of a Customer. Due to building works and lack of funds we have been approached by a customer to sell his Frogeye Sprite.
Bodywork has been completely stripped and repainted by a local specialist within the last 2 years and has been completed to a very high standard. Lower sections of the front wings were cut away and replaced along with both cills. Since the work was completed the car has been stored in a dry, insulated garage and has literally covered only 200-300 miles in the last 3 years.
From the information we have the car was brought back to the UK from California in 1991 and showed 68,973 miles on the original engine. In 1994 a major engine overhaul was completed and MOT's up to 2002 are available to verify the current mileage which stands at approx 6000.
The car was professionally converted to RHD.
Two Hard tops are included in the sale but need work to bring back to a presentable condition. Existing soft top and side windows (in excellent condition) are included.
The car has a current MOT is 95% perfect and just needs time spending on the finishing touches.
At a future date the Engine bay would ideally benefit from removal and a cosmetic makeover.
